It’s still scary for some to come out as gay or bisexual because of all the criticism they will receive from people. But imagine being a celebrity. Imagine how you screaming your sexuality to the world and not knowing how the people would react. Subsequently, there are some stars who took the subtle way of coming out instead of screaming from the rooftops that they are gay. ‘Prison Break’ actor Wentworth Miller denied he was gay in 2007 but then in 2013, he admitted that he was gay. In a letter to the organizer of St. Petersburg International film festival in Russia, the actor declined because of Russia’s recent anti-LGBT legislation.

WENTWORTH MILLER IS A WINNER
For five years, Attitude has celebrated the great and good of the LGBT+ community and its allies for its annual Awards Issue. It’s a great way to honor those the glossy feels inspire and make change, make LGBT lives easier, influence and entertain, or quite simply give us life.
Wentworth Miller scored one of the six coveted covers for the annual issue. The 44-year-old Legends of Tomorrow actor’s candid discussion of his struggles with depression, self-loathing and thoughts of suicide, along with his inspiring statements are just some of the reasons the publication chose him as their “Man Of The Year. ”
